I’m grew up in Alaska but transplanted to the South. I love the cold, snowy weather. The heat and humidity in the “Lower 48″ tends to be unbearable, however the longer I live here, the more I enjoy the fact that I can play outside in January and February without having to bundle up too much. I’m married to my best friend and we have three beautiful boys.
I’m a retired electrical engineer, a wife, mom, athlete, triathlete, cargo bike rider, seamstress, gardnening, knitter, all around crafter, cellist (although I really need to practice), and childbirth educator.
I enjoy writing to relieve stress. If you want to find out what is going on in my brain, check out my blog.
As I get older, I’m realizing more and more that there isn’t just one way to do something. I have to constantly check myself to remember that each person has different experiences and perspectives. We do the best we can with the information that we have at the time.
Thanks for visiting.
