Nashville Culture Fest

Posted on

After attending a Babywearing International of Middle Tennessee meeting, the boys and I headed to Nashville’s Culture Fest at Centennial Park.  I was not in the  best of moods, blood sugar was dropping severely but I had mentioned the festival to the boys and they very much wanted to go.

DSC_0273After trying to find a parking spot for about 25 minutes, we finally found a spot and headed over towards the Parthenon.

I love these kinds of festivals.  I love seeing the bright colors of the garments, the music, the dancing, however I needed food and so did the boys.

We had to walk a ways, but managed to get over near the Musicians Corner area and I got to have some Korean food from a food truck and the boys got NY pizza.

It was a fun day, with only minor complaints of hunger, heat and needing water.  Oh how I wish that October in Tennessee was actually cold.

I was wiped at the end of our three hour festival experience. Missing my husband and hoping he will be home soon from his trip.
